Now, I don’t remember when, and I don’t exactly remember where.. but one of my foster mothers introduced me to Deep Fried Ice Cream when I was a teenager.
I remember her taking me to what I think was an asian restaurant in Brisbane somewhere and ordering dinner along with Deep Fried Ice Cream for dessert.
I remember trying it for the first time and the crispiness with the creaminess along with the sweetness and the saltiness making it so memorable.
It was just something out of this world!
We didn’t get them often, maybe twice and living in Victoria now for the past 20 years, have never been able to find them down here..
