What are the most important things needed to live a good life?

Probably to nourish (nourish meaning to enrich) our minds, body and spirits.

Nourishing our minds with things that make us think better, think bigger, challenge us, help us to focus and grow as people. Creating ways that make us feel good, happy, excited.. creating full stop. Plan a trip, create some goals, write a bucket list, learn something new and do the things you enjoy in your free time. Having brain breaks and knowing when your cups full and saying no to things that don’t support good mental health is also essential and comes with time and in most cases burn out. But your mind is a powerful tool and investing in it is a real benefit to your life!

Nourishing our body. We need to look after our bodies to give our bodies the ability of life longevity. Nourishing food, regular exercise, stretching as well as good physical hygiene, teeth hygiene and check ins with your doctor when things feel abnormal or weird.

And lastly our spirits! The ways in which we nourish our spirit is through good self talk, daily affirmations, having good people around you who love you, grow you, want better for you and make you laugh. An encouraging and loving environment is how we defeat our own demons. Having people who empower us and support us through the hard days are essential for our health and happiness.

As a side note, as a Christian I believe having a personal relationship with our creator through Jesus Christ is the best decision I ever made. It’s comforting to know that I have everything I’ll ever need.

My Dad once said the key to a happy life is to always have something to look forward to.. plan that trip.. and go! Always have a goal for happy moments!
