“You are who you hang around with. If you hang around shit.. you become shit. So be careful in who you choose to be friends with.”
I was 13yo and in my first year of High School when my Dad started seeing a bit of rebellion in me. But I never ever forgot what he said, the way he said it, where he said it or how it was said.
I still use this piece of advice today as a guide when I make new friends.
